PIII.07.a2 Anaplastic meningioma (MT x100). Meningothelial-like cells in an epithelial arrangement along certain vessels, mimicking a papillary architecture. These "papillary" meningiomas are actually anaplastic and show evidence of rapid growth (a mitosis is visible near the upper left corner). The necroses parallel to the vessels accentuate the tumour's pseudopapillary appearance.
